The Los Santos Fire Department is an equal opportunity employer. Applicants whom in which provide falsified information are subject to permanent disqualification from the Los Santos Fire Department and other Government entities. The Los Santos Fire Department, and its' ranking affiliates, reserve the right to discharge, demote, abstain or withhold pay, suspend, or chastise ANY employee at any time, without disclosure of reasoning. Any illicit activities conducted whilst employed by the Los Santos Fire Department will result in the applicant and/or employee's immediate termination, as per signature of application resulting in the production of a legal affidavit, and accepted evidence in a civil or criminal court. The Los Santos Fire Department reserves the right to withhold or disclose any information of its' employees to affiliated or third-party entities for sake of press, criminal investigation, official inquiry, or civil inquiry.

Upon submitting a signed application to the Los Santos Fire Department, the applicant agrees and understands the forfeiture of legal obligation or responsibility for any personal injury, illness, damage, or death that may occur from duty and incumbent status as a member of the Los Santos Fire Department.

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Be able to prove you identity with a valid and up to date identification card.
  • Possess a valid San Andreas State driver's license.
  • Pass medical and psychological tests, as well as a drug screening.
  • Be able to speak fluent and comprehensive English, as well as be understood.
  • Pass your Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT).
  • Be a resident within the city of Los Santos or its counties.
  • Pass your background check.
  • Be able to commit to duty on time.
  • Be able to meet moral standards, as well as demonstrate good character and personality.
Education/Military/Work Experience Eligibility:
  • Have a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent by the time of appointment.
  • Have at least 15 college semester credits earned at an accredited college or university through a Fire Science course.
  • For applicants with a military service background, must have full-time military service with an honorable discharge.
  • For applications with previous employment, must have six months of full-time, satisfactory and paid work experience.
Other Requirements:
  • Pass your academy and probationary stage to a satisfactory level, including training and theoretical and practical exam.
  • Be a certified emergency medical technician (basic life support certified) by the end of your probationary period.
Certifications in which one may have to obtain include but are not limited to:
  • Search and Rescue.
  • Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT).
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS).
  • Air Operations.
  • Fire Prevention (Fire Marshal).
  • Emergency Vehicles Operations Course (EVOC).
  • Lifeguard Operations.
(( OOC Requirements )):
  • No outstanding administrative history.
  • Be capable of intermediate roleplaying, that is demanded by your job.
  • Must consult faction leaders for any corrupt activities through OOC.
  • Be able to speak fluent and comprehensive English, as well as be understood.
  • Must be able to commit to the job at least 12 hours a week.
